Home from an exhausting day out.

I went with spross to Billings Bridge to pick up Mother's Day cards. (That's tomorrow, in case you didn't remember.) Woke up this morning feeling somewhat headache-y, and my left ankle and leg were hurting something fierce. I've taken some Tylenol and that seems to have dulled the pain, but it's still there ( Read more... )

Just came back from being out for most of the afternoon.

spross came over this afternoon after taking care of some stuff downtown, and we went out and did some photocopying of stuff. Home from a lovely brunch with my mom at the Southway HotelThe brunch was served in the main ballroom of the hotel, and it seats about 300. Diners for the buffet were able to sit down and eat from 10:30 am with the last reservation being accepted for 1:30 pm, and the reservations were done in shifts pretty much, so there was always folks eating. Time to head out and pick up my mom.

I'm treating her to a Mother's Day brunch (yes, I know, it's a late brunch, but what are you gonna do?) over at the Southway Inn today, and have also bought her an extra treat - a lovely spa treatment at the Holtz Spa here in Ottawa.
